Robert Alexander Keepper, 94 of Jasper, Missouri passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 at his home. He was born July 9, 1924 in Jasper County, Missouri to William Alexander and Gertrude Alice (Vincet) Keepper. Robert was a farmer and rancher. He was a member of the American Legion, National Rifle Association, Southwest Missouri Sheep Producers Association, American Polled Hereford Association, and the American Hampshire Sheep Association. Robert had served on the Jasper County Youth Fair Board and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Robert was united in marriage to Glenna Coleen Rardin on July 11, 1954 at Picher, Oklahoma, She survives after 64 years of marriage of the home. Other survivors include, two sons, Marion Alexander Keepper and wife Debra and Gene Earl Keepper and wife Denean. Grandchildren, Adam Keepper and wife Tessa, Erik Keepper and wife Deanna, Nicholas Keepper, and Rebekka Sullivan. Great-grandchildren, Nadylie, Nate, Annie, Raegan, and Autumn. Nieces and Nephews, Gary Keepper, Randy Brueggeman, Roseanne Brueggeman, Betty Ford, Dr. Anne Rardin, John Logan Rardin, Dianna Troutt, Deanna McMurray, Shelly Gatton, Dustin Arnold, Starletta Messer, and John Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, William Gene Keepper, and one sister, Hallie Arlene Brueggeman.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 1:00 P.M.. at Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, MO.. The body will lie in state from 12:00 to 4:00 P.M., Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Weng Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Golden City, MO.. Memorial contributions can be made to the Jasper High School FFA.
