Raymond R. Ritchhart age 87 of Carthage, MO. passed away December 9, 2013 at his home. He was born June 25, 1926 in Jasper County, Missouri to Lester and Irene (Tiller) Ritchhart. Raymond was a retired farmer, an Army veteran, and a member of the Jasper V.F.W. post 6415. He was also a member of the Jasper United Methodist Church.
Raymond was united in marriage to Margarette Poindexter on May 4, 1948. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Denny Ritchhart of Jasper ,MO.. A daughter, Lea Ann Pugh of Joplin, MO..Two brothers, Paul Ritchhart and Russell Ritchhart both of Jasper, MO.. Eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Mitchell Cemetery east of, Jasper, MO.. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimers Association. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, Missouri.
