Phillip "Uncle Phip" Budd 63 of Jasper, MO. passed away March 21, 2017 at Mercy Joplin Hospital. He was born January 19, 1954 in Lamar, Missouri to Merle Rex Sr. and Betty L. (Brown) Budd. Phillip was a truck driver. He graduated from Jasper High School with the Class of 1973. Phillip was a member of the Christian Faith.
Survivors include , His mother, Betty Budd of Jasper, MO.. One brother, Rex Budd (Rita) of Neosho, MO.. Three sisters, Violet Kollmeyer (Murl) of Greenfield, MO, Kay Budd of Jasper, MO., and Hope Budd of the state of Arkansas. Several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, MO.. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 3:00 P.M. until service time. Private inurnment will take place at a later date in Waters Cemetery. The family would like to express a special Thank You to the Jasper First responders and the Mercy Joplin CCIU staff. In lieu of flowers Phil would have requested that contributions be made to the Jasper First Responders in care of the Funeral Chapel.
