Peggy Sue (Jones) Donald, 62 formerly of Jasper, Missouri passed away on February 9, 2022 at her home in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born on October 18, 1959 in Carthage, Missouri to Louis and Betty (Asbell) Jones. Peggy graduated from Jasper High School and went to Joplin Cosmotology School. She had worked in the fraud department for American Express for 24 years and then Wells Fargo for 10 years.

Peggy was united in marriage to James Donald in February of 1981. He preceded her in death in February of 1982. Survivors include her mother, Betty Lou Whetzel of Jasper, Missouri, one brother, Donald Dean Leedy of Lamar, Missouri, two uncles, Richard Asbell, and Garland Asbell, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Jones, her son, James Ray Donald Jr, aunts and uncles, Elmer and Patty Asbell, Bill and Leta Asbell, Mary Asbell, and Joyce Asbell, cousins Greg and Brent Asbell.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 6:00 till 7:00 p.m. at Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, Missouri.
