Norma Jean Cossey 81 of Carthage, MO. passed away March 27, 2017 at her home. She was born October 31, 1935 in Alba, Missouri to Dan and Sylvia (Hairl) Smith. Norma was a homemaker, loved family camping trips and was an avid St.Louis Cardinals fan. She graduated from Alba High School and was a member of the Alba Christian Church.
Norma was united in marriage to Paul Cossey on February 28, 1953. He survives of the home.sOther Survivors include , Two sons, Randy K. Cossey (Pam) and Terry Cossey (Teresa). Three daughters, Debbie Lee (Gary), Linda Epperson (Rob), and Kelly Lee (Brent). Nine grandchildren, Gary Wayne Lee, Randy A. Cossey, Katie Jackson, Dusty Epperson, Carly Webster, Chance Lee, Chelsey Lee, Dalton Cossey, and Taylor Cossey. Ten great-grandchildren, Samantha Lee, Kierra Lee, Case Cossey, Brody Jackson, Ashlynn Jackson, Carl Epperson, Abbi Hass, Zoiee Lee, Halee Lee, and Waylon Lee.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Fairview Friends Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, March 31, 2017 from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, Missouri.
