Nancy Lee Baker, 87 of Carthage, Missouri passed away March 12, 2022 at Mercy Hospital of Joplin. Nancy was born March 20, 1934 in Jasper County, Missouri to Fred and Maude (Hill) Nesbitt. She was a homemaker. Nancy was a member of the Alba Christian Church.

Nancy was united in marriage to Donald Baker on November 22, 1953. He preceded her in death on June 5, 2002. Survivors include, one son, Ron (Teresa) Baker , two daughters, Linda (Randy)Day , and Karen (John)Johnson, Seven grandchildren, Jeremy (Abby) Baker, Jessica (Anthony) Mosley, Jeff (Niki) Day, Stephanie (Ryan) McCoy, Cody (Brandy) Johnson, Wyatt Johnson, Carson Johnson, and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and eight siblings.

Nancy deeply loved God and her family. She was always there to comfort and encourage others. Her home was a welcome door to all who entered. Her children arise and call her blessed. Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. (Proverbs 31: 28,30)

Funeral services for Nancy will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, MO. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 6:00 till 7:00 p.m. at Weng Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Fasken Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alba Christian Church.
