Louis Edward Pennell, 69 of Jasper, Missouri passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Mercy Hospital of Joplin. He was born on December 8, 1952 in Springfield, Missouri to Alfred Louis and Rachel Gertrude (Tummons) Pennell. He was a farmer and had worked as a factory worker. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jasper, Missouri.

Louis was united in marriage to Ronetta Myers on March 23, 1981. She survives. Other survivors include one son, Chad Pennell, one daughter, Carrie Knight (John), and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and, two sisters, Irene Garcia and Kathy Ritchie.

Memorial Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2022 at Weng Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions can be made to Greenlawn Cemetery.
