Obituary

LaVeta Faye Manley, 91 of Carthage, Missouri passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at her home. She was born on June 24, 1933 in McDonald County, Missouri to Charles and Nola (Schell) Hall. LaVeta was a homemaker. She was a member of the Carthage V.F.W. post 2590 ladies auxillary and the Center Point Christian Church.

LaVeta was united in marriage to Gene Manley on December 4, 1959. He survives. Other survivors include three sons, Lonnie Browning, Neil Manley, and Charles Manley, two daughters, Dee Manley Carter, and Irene Robinson, twelve grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, one sister, and a daughter, Carol Chapman.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 10:30am at Fasken Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Center Point Church building fund.
