Kenneth Dale Davis, 82 of Carthage, MO passed away January 3, 2016 at Good Sheperd Nursing Home, Lockwood, MO. He was born March 29, 1933 in Red Oak, Missouri to Norman and Violet (Gulick) Davis. Kenneth was a farmer and enjoyed farming with his two sons. He also hauled grain until retirement. He enjoyed traveling , camping with family and friends and church activities. Kenneth was united in marriage to Geraldine McIntyre on September 25, 1955. She preceded him in death on September 22, 2006. He then married Fern Stevenson on August 14, 2010. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Ron Davis of New Orleans, Louisiana and Randy Davis of Mt. Vernon, MO.. One daughter, Rhonda Coose of Lockwood, MO..One stepson, J.D. Stevenson of Springfield, Illinois. Three sisters, Dorothy Alumbaugh of Carthage, MO., Della Jordan of Rogersville, MO., and Donna Lane of Carthage, MO.. Six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at First Church of the Nazarene, Carthage, MO.. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the church. Burial will be in Red Oak Cemetery.
