Kathryn Marie Waltrip, 64 of Carthage, Missouri passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Carthage Health and Rehab. Kathryn was born on November 12, 1958 in Carthage, Missouri to William Lee and Alberta (Grimes) Lucas. She was a homemaker and had worked as a C.N.A.for Carthage Health and Rehab.

Kathryn was united in marriage to Laveron Waltrip on August 6, 1983. He survives. Other survivors include, two sons, Wayne Waltrip and Josh Waltrip, one daughter, Amy Sisseck, two brothers, David Lucas, and Larry Lucas, four sisters, Sharon Vogt, Sue Eckart, Barbara Ellis, and Ruth Ellen Lucas, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and one sister.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, MO.
