Judy R. Phipps, 70 of Carthage, Missouri passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 at her home. She was born August 25, 1947 in Neosho, Missouri to Harlin and Virgie (Soard) Lane. Judy was a homemaker and worked in the dietary department for St.Lukes Nuring Center in Carthage. She was a member of the Grace Point Assembly of God Church in Carthage.
Judy was united in marriage to Herman C. Phipps on July 25, 1965. He preceded her in death on April 5, 2013. Survivors include her four children, Herman E. Phipps, Peggy Garrison of Carthage, MO., Robin Jeffers of Webb City, MO., and Becky Hull of Reeds, MO.. Two sisters, Carol Pippin of Commerce, OK., and Vera Franklin of Carthage, MO.. Twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and a sister Pam Lane.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 11:30 A.M.. at Greenlawn Cemetery, Jasper, MO.. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M., Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, MO.. Memorial contributions can be made to the family to cover funeral expenses.
