Jimmie Lee Rose age 76 of Jasper, MO. passed away December 18, 2015. He was born September 1, 1939 in Nevisdale, Kentucky to Charlie James and Jessie Marie (Leigh) Rose. He was retired from the United States Army having served in Viet Nam.
Jimmie was united in marriage to Joan Phillips on March 14, 1964. She survives of the home. Other survivors include a daughter, Leanna Sue Shumard (Frank) of Jasper, MO.. Three brothers, Roy Rose (Mary) of Dayton, Ohio, Denny Ray Rose (Karon) of Ogden, Iowa, and Charlie James Rose (Celia) of Minnesota. Two sisters, Joetta Rose and Doris O'Byrne both of Dayton, Ohio. Two grandchildren JeremeyShumard (Niki) of Rogers, Arkansas and Jessicca Shumard and fiance James of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Johnny Rose, one sister, Barbara Phyllis Knipp and a granddaughter, Sabrina Shumard.
Services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Monday, December 21, 2015 at the Jasper Christian Church. Burial will be in Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 2:00 P.M..
