Janey Lee Taylor, 88 of Jasper, Missouri went home to her Lord on Friday, May 20, 2022 at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born June 28, 1933 in Jerico Springs, MO. to Austin and Lena (Longbrake) Myers. Janey was a school bus driver and cafeteria worker for the Jasper R-5 Schools. She loved her job and cherished all the children that came into her life through her job. Janey was a member of the Jasper Christian Church.

Janey was united in marriage to Clifford Wayne Taylor on April 21, 1967. He preceded her in death on November 25, 2013. Survivors include four daughters, Lendy George and husband Russ of Jasper, MO, Tracy Adams and husband Larry of Ash Grove, MO, Tammy Taylor of Jasper, MO, and Becky Gregg of Arkansas, one son, Kevin McConnell of Jasper, MO. Janey was blessed with eighteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Ferrell, a daughter, Earlena, and a grandson, Craig.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at the Jasper Christian Church. Minister Michael Moss will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Shriner's Hospital in care of the funeral home.
