Helen May Carter, 80 of Webb City, Missouri passed away Friday, February 18, 2022. She was born on June 7, 1941 in Carthage, Missouri to Howard and Vera (Ferguson) McCune. Helen graduated from Carthage High School in 1959,and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Webb City, Missouri.

Helen was united in marriage to Carroll D. Carter on March 30, 1963. He preceded her in death on July 3, 2007. Survivors include one son, Mike Carter (Leigh) of Carl Junction, MO, Two daughters, Beverly Hayes (Randall) of Galena, KS, and Peggy Jensen (John) of Carthage, MO. one brother, Jim McCune (Melba) of Carthage, MO, seven grandchildren, and, one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, and, one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, MO. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Weng Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Fasken Cemetery.
