Geraldine Louise Sallee 73, passed away peacefully at 2:45 p.m., Monday, October 7, 2019.
She was the wife of Ronald Sallee and they shared 58 years together. Geri was born on August 11, 1946 in Cecil, Pennsylvania to Roy and Margaret (Smith) Schrader. She attended school at Cecil and Waynesburg in Pennsylvania. Geri was employed by McCune-Brooks Hospital E.R. as a CNA for many years. She was also employed by Carthage Wal-Mart until early retirement due to health.
Geri was the devoted mother of David Sallee and wife Amy. Grandmother to Buddy Sallee and wife Chelsie, and Matthew Sallee. She was an Aunt to many and the dear sister of Lucille(Wade) Garber, Edward (Sonny) Schrader, Roy (Dump) Schrader Jr., James (Keek) Schrader, William (Bill) Schrader, Linda Schrader, Joy Boggs and Danny Schrader. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Morris (Buddy) Schrader, sisters Margaret (Peggy) Schrader and Nancy.
Geri enjoyed music, gardening and was an avid collector of dolls but more than anything , she enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren, Kailyn and Cooper the children of Buddy and Chelsie Sallee.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Geri was a cancer survivor and cancer free since October of 2011.
