Eugene Ray Pugh, 68, passed away suddenly Oct. 1, 2017 at his home. He was born Jan. 4, 1949 in rural Jasper County Missouri to Raymond and Vera Rives Pugh. He was a farmer and resided in Jasper, MO most of his life.

Gene is survived by his wife, Kay, Jasper, mother Vera Pugh of Lamar, daughters Randa (Matt) Dysinger, Carthage and Robin (Greg) Wampler, Jasper, step-son EJ (Shirley) Sisseck, Jasper, grandson Dakota Dysinger, Carthage, step-grandsons Jeremy (Deanna) Wampler, Wallingford, CT, and Steve (Stefanie) Wampler, Bethany, CT, and seven step-great grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers Carter (Jill) Pugh, Irwin, Fred (Glenda) Pugh, Joplin, Gerald (Sheila) Pugh, Irwin, Joe (Vicki) Pugh, Lamar, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Pugh, sister Sue Miller, nephew Kevin Miller and niece Karen Miller.

A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017 at Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, MO from 6:00-7:00 pm. Burial will be at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the Gene Pugh memorial at Southwest Missouri Bank.
