Erma Lee McGuire, 94 of Golden City, Missouri passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at St. Luke's Nursing Center, Carthage, MO. She was born on January 21, 1927 in Barton County, Missouri to Lyman and Eva (Hastings) Kentner. Erma was a homemaker and a member of the Dudenville United Methodist Church. She was active in the Avilla Methodist Church since the closing of the Dudenville Church.

Erma was united in marriage to David McGuire on November 30, 1947. He preceded her in death on May 13, 2003. Survivors include two sons, Robert McGuire (Vicky) of Monett, MO and Randy McGuire of Golden City, two daughters, Reta Elliott (Robert),and Raema Manka both of Golden City, one brother, Gary Kentner of Seattle, WA., one sister, Mary Gayle Loller of Colony, TX., nine grandchildren, twenty three great-grandchildren, and fifteen great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, MO. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 10, 2021 from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Weng Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Dudenville Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Dudenville Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
