Edward Neal Rush, 78 of Jasper, MO passed away December 14, 2016 at Joplin Gardens Care Center. He was born March 18, 1938 in Jasper County, Missouri to Walter and Anna (Isenmann) Rush. Neal was a farmer and had milked cows for 35 years. He was a Barton County Electric Coop board member for 20 years, a Pioneer seed dealer for 25 years and was a 4-H leader for the Lincoln 4-H club for many years. Neal was a member of the Jasper United Methodist Church.
Neal was united in marriage to Shirley Byerly on July 5, 1956. She preceded him in death on December 12, 1993. He then married Myrna Sue Greenlee on February 18, 1995. She preceded him in death on September 2, 2012. He then married Jean Bauer on November 8, 2014. She survives. Other survivors include one son, Rocky (Karen) Rush of Jasper, MO.. One daughter, Tami (Joel) Maneval of Jasper, MO..One brother, Ivan (Doris) Rush of Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Grandchildren, Tyler, Shelby, Dayton and Tate. Several step-children and step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives and two daughters, Saundra and Rhonda Rush on December 27, 1968.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, MO.. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Weng Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Paradise Cemetery.
