Edgar "Junior" Snyder, 94 of Carthage, Missouri passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 at National Healthcare, Joplin, Missouri. He was born August 11, 1924 in Reeds, Missouri to William Edgar and Laura (Hawthorne) Snyder. Junior was a farmer, cattle rancher and an avid coyote hunter.
Junior was united in marriage to Ruby Jones on September 20, 1978, She precede him in death on January 28, 2007. Survivors include, Two daughters, Sharlet (Clifford) Sisco and Sheila Patrick. One son, Sherill Daniel. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and three sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 2:00 P.M.. at Hackney Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, MO.. Burial will be in Hackney Cemetery.
