Bonnie L. Ziler, 90 of Reeds, Missouri passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Oak Pointe of Carthage. She was born April 18, 1927 in Jasper County, Missouri to Harold Harker and Velma Viola (Mackey) Schooler. She was a homemaker and a bookkeeper for Ramsey's and Avilla Lumber Company. She graduated with the class of 1945 at Carthage Senior High School. Bonnie was a member of the Avilla First Baptist Church.
Bonnie was united in marriage to Raymond Ziler on February 12, 1950 at Carthage, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 9, 1985. Survivors include a son, James (Grace) Ziler of Reeds, MO.. A daughter, Janet (Rick)Eaves of Maple Grove, MO.. Ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Michael Ziler. A daughter, Elizabeth Yust. Three brothers, Maynard Schooler, Julian Schooler, and Jim Schooler. Two sisters, May Margaret Webber, and Ann Hood.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11:00 A.M.. at the Avilla First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the Church. Burial will be in Avilla Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Navigators Mission Fund in care of the Funeral home.
