Billy Lee White, 82 of Jasper, Missouri passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Joplin Mercy Hospital. He was born August 15, 1937 in Dade County, Missouri to Cordis Ray and Myrtle Louise (Voorhees) White. He worked in maintenance for Gilster Mary Lee Co. and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. Billy was a member of the Jasper Christian Church.
Billy was united in marriage to Nancy Pence on September 17, 1960. She survives. Other survivors include, two sons, Linn White (Becky) of Corsicana, Texas, and Danny White (Rhonda) of Willard, Missouri. One daughter, Debby Baker of Carthage, Missouri. Three brothers, John White, Tom White (Jan) and Jack White (Pat). One sister, Helen Burr. Three sister-in-laws, Gaye Wood (Bob), Pam Gilkey, and Becky Carr. One brother-in-law, Tommy Pence. Three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 16, 2020 at the Jasper Christian Church. Memorial contributions can be made to the Jasper Christian Church.
