Betty Jo Branstetter, 87 of Avilla, Missouri passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Mercy McCune Brooks Hospital Carthage, MO. She was born on January 25, 1934 in Alton, Missouri to Lee and Grace (Gann) Campbell. Betty was a homemaker, worked for a time for Butterball in Carthage. She was a member of the Avilla First Baptist Church.

Betty was united in marriage to Troy Branstetter on December 25, 1955. He preceded her in death on June 25, 2012. Survivors include three sons, Danny Branstetter, Darrell Branstetter, David Branstetter, one daughter, Debra Johnston, one sister, Cora Converse, four grandchildren, and fourteen  great-grandchildren. . She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Troy, a brother, and, two sisters.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Avilla Cemetery. There will be an open visitation Wednesday, September, 8, 2021 from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. at Weng Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Avilla Cemetery.
