Barbara Annette Howell, 82 of Carthage, Missouri passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, MO. She was born on December 22, 1938 in Carthage, Missouri to Clair E. and Edith M. (Hahnen) Jackson. Barbara worked many years as the billing manager for Carthage Water and Electric. She was a member of the Carthage United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one son, David Dreier, one daughter, Brenda Beasley, two brothers, Richard Jackson and, Terry Jackson, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Chris Howell, and a brother, Eddie Jackson.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Park Cemetery, Carthage, MO. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 10:30 a.m.to 12:00 noon at Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, MO.
