Alfred Louis Pennell, 91 of Jasper, Missouri passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Lockwood, Missouri. He was born on July 23, 1929 in Dudenville, Missouri to Alfred Leroy and Lena Enola (Parrish) Pennell. Louis was a farmer. He was an Army veteran and a member of the Jasper First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.

Louis was united in marriage to Rachel Gertrude Tummons on February 20, 1951 at Bentonville, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on August 1, 2013. Survivors include his son, Ed Pennell, a daughter, Irene Garcia , brother, Lonnie Pennell, sister, Wilma Pennell, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a daughter, Kathy Ritchie, five brothers, Leonard, Lloyd, Nick, Luther, and Roy, four sisters, Viola, Rosie, Mary, and Edith, and a granddaughter, Sonya Petroski

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, MO.. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. till service time on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, MO.. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Greenlawn Cemetery in care of the funeral home. Covid-19 regulations will be observed at all times.
